The Common E-Passport is issued to every Cape Verdean citizen who applies for it, whether residing in the national territory or abroad.

Common E-Passport for National Incapacitated Individuals
The issuance of a passport for a national incapacitated individual is only carried out upon request from their legal representative.

Identification Card (CNI) of the incapacitated individual
Previous Passport of the incapacitated individual (if applicable)
Identification Card (CNI) of the legal guardian
Document proving the legal guardianship responsibility
Common E-Passport for National Minors
The issuance of a passport for individuals under 18 years of age is only carried out upon request from their legal representative or, if necessary, by judicial order.
The validity of the passport for minors under 4 years old is 2 years.
